Refunds

Try first, for 14 days

Every SIMLAF product has a free 14-day trial. Please use it to check that the product works on your computer and in your host before you buy. A trial never turns into a paid purchase by itself. A pre-order can't be tried before it is delivered, which is why it can be cancelled for a full refund until then (below).

If it does not work on your system

If a product you bought does not work on your system, you can ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase.

1. Write to hello@simlaf.com with your order reference, your Mac model, your macOS version, your host and what happens when you use the product.
2. We will try to get it working with you first. Many problems turn out to be an installation or host setting that can be fixed quickly.
3. If we cannot make it work on your system, we refund the full price. The refund is issued by our reseller, the merchant of record, to the payment method you used, including any tax you were charged.

When a refund is issued, the licence is deactivated and the product must be uninstalled.

Pre-orders

When you pre-order, you pay now and we deliver on the date shown on the product page and at checkout.

• Before delivery: you can cancel for a full refund, tax included, at any time and for any reason. Write to hello@simlaf.com with your order reference. We issue the full refund within 5 working days, through our reseller, to the payment method you used; your bank may take a few more days to show it. The licence key is revoked.
• After delivery: this policy applies as it does to every purchase, and the 14 days count from the day of delivery, not the day you paid.
• If we are late: we email you the same day we know, with a new date. You can still cancel for a full refund at any time until we deliver. If the new date is more than 30 days after the original one, or if we miss the new date as well, we refund you unless you reply within 7 days that you want to keep your order.
• If only part is late: we deliver what is ready on the date, tell you what follows and when, and you can still cancel for a full refund until everything promised for that date has arrived.

Bundles

The Whole Studio, the Producer Pack and the SIMLAF FX Suite are refunded as a whole: the refund covers the full bundle price and deactivates every licence in the bundle.

Duplicate purchases

If you bought the same product twice by mistake, write to us and we will refund the duplicate.

Your rights

This policy does not affect any rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
